So, how does the movie end??
The Rock leads the free people in a great revolt against Memnon. The Amazon warriors take out a number of the guards, while Balthazar is nifty with the sword too. Meanwhile the professor and comedy sidekick pack the fortress foundations with gunpowder.
The Rock and Balthazar fight their way into the inner rooms of the fortress to face Memnon, but he grabs the sorceress and escapes through an exit as fire rages all around.
Outside, an archer is about to pick off Mathayus - the sorceress screams to warn him and jumps in the way, but he turns her to take the arrow himself.
There's a bit more fighting with flaming swords, then Memnon stands at the back of the landscaped building-top garden. A lot like that scene in Troy. Mathayus picks up his bow, and Memno gets ready for his arrow-catching magic trick.
The Rock puts a little more beef in his pull, and the arrow is too quick for Memnon - he is caught in the chest and falls back, engulfed in flames from the huge explosion beneath.
The Rock and the sorceress stare out over the people, and they honor him as the new and worthy warrior king.
